Arogya Sewa has simplified lab testing by employing modernized methods to provide you with access to validated and credible laboratory tests that are initiated and collected by you from the comfort and convenience of your home. We are empowering individuals by giving them control of their health and life. Our aim is to make people proactive about their health. By combining best-in-class engineering science, and rigorously validated collection methods and services, we ensure the best quality testing by working with NABL and ICMR approved labs.
Clinically Validated Tests
Our tests are clinically evaluated and validated by comparing them with traditional sample collection methods. Our tests are validated with strong ethical research and approved by ICMR and CDSCO.
Each laboratory used to process your sample is certified under the NABL regulation in accordance with the standard ISO 15189:2012, which means they must meet or exceed the precision, accuracy, and validity standards. They also submit themselves to regular inspections as well as independent third-party performance verifications.
Our online platform is a much easier, faster, and more affordable alternative to those frustrated by the traditional lab testing process. Arogya Sewa process fits your schedule and allows you to test with privacy in the comfort of your own home and at your convenient time with lightning speed. No more visits laboratories or waiting in line to give your samples

Journey to Arogya Sewa:
Conceptualization: We conceptualized a self-sample collection mechanism, the day we got tested for COVID-19 in South Korea. Our testing streak continued in India with multiple cities and states. With our testing experience, we understood nasal sample collection is a blind procedure, sometimes a swab is inserted with force and sometimes sample is collected gently. If the sample is not collected properly, the final outcome can be inconclusive or false negative.
Apart from the above-mentioned challenge, we also observed and analyzed the complete lifecycle of the SARS-CoV-2 test and identified certain challenges:
To address the above-mentioned challenges, we successfully tested our self-sample collection concept with Government Medical College. This simple process will organize testing and will stop virus transmission.
Our Rome (Arogya Sewa) wasn’t built in a day, we were laying bricks every hour
From Feb 2020, we have scaled our concept of self-sample collection from detecting SARS-CoV-2 active infection to past infection i.e. detecting antibodies developed from COVID-19 infection or from vaccination. We have also tested different sample types to detect active infection, to know the transmission status after symptoms disappear or the quarantine period is over, and to detect antibodies.
About a year ago we started with a focus on identifying a solution to make this pandemic an endemic, on the side we created a delightful best-in-class platform as an alternative to traditional lab testing and sample collection method.
Arogya Sewa, a health and wellness company, designed and developed to address the testing challenges by employing a direct-to-consumer model and a self-sample collection mechanism (blood, saliva, swabs and others). Our consumers will be able to drive their own medical testing decisions and this method will eliminate the time and agony of traditional medical visits for testing while also improving transparency and confidentiality. We are focusing on optimizing and streamlining the end-to-end user experience to make it convenient, comprehensible, and cost-effective in a way that makes it similar to using other modern digital tools and distinctly dissimilar from the often cumbersome ways in which consumers currently engage with the medical establishment.
We are here to change things:
In any fight, it is important to know your enemy. Unfortunately, in our battle against COVID-19, there’s a lot that we still don’t know. How many people are infected who do not show symptoms? Is it seasonal or weather dependent? When it will be safe to open the economy back up? How accurate are the COVID-19 tracking tools developed by various countries?
You cannot fight a fire blindfolded. And we cannot stop this pandemic if we don’t know who is infected.
To answer the above questions, it is important to understand the current situation. To understand the current situation, think of a current pandemic like an iceberg. There is a part of the iceberg above the surface that everyone can see such as currently active cases, recovered cases, and accounted for deaths. But there is potentially a larger part of an iceberg underneath the surface that no one can see such as asymptomatic patients, hidden symptomatic patients who do not want to get tested, and unaccounted deaths. With the current testing mechanism what we are able to see is the part that is above the water, but underneath a surface is still a mystery. One of the key questions that self-sample collection and transportation can help to answer: what is the prevalence of COVID-19 amongst individuals who don’t have any symptoms or with symptoms too mild for them to get tested or call their doctor? As we move forward, particularly transitioning from the current phase to the vaccination phase and from social distancing policies to open market policy, it is important that vaccination and effective testing with prevention measures should be conducted in parallel to bring the pandemic under control.
According to several research reports published by various countries, COVID-19 virus mutation might have evolved to dodge our natural immune response. In the future, we may see variants that make our vaccines somewhat less effective. If the virus is given enough time to replicate, it will sample a very large evolutionary space and find a solution to a problem we have presented it i.e. vaccination and widespread immunity.
Our immediate aim is to nip new variants in the bud before they even have a chance to develop. Arogya Sewa putting forward the idea of Atmanirbhar to move from pandemic to endemic.
Arogya Sewa strives to create a culture that empowers a humble, creative, and independent workforce. We are passionate about our idea of making India free from virus and believe that collaboration and creativity are powerful tools that will help us make our dreams a reality.
